Located in the historic SoHo neighborhood, the Leica Store New York is at the heart of New York’s creative pulse. The neighborhood of Warhol, Basquiat, and Haring has long been the home of the biggest figures in the world of Photography. In that spirit, the Leica Store often champions the work of local photographers in our Gallery, showing both established and new artists. Our full retail space is staffed by knowledgeable personnel with decades of experience at shooting, selling, and handling cameras.
With long roots in the history of Leica products and practices, the Leica Store New York SoHo is a must visit location for local or visiting shutterbugs looking for a little photography advice, or for a hands on experience with all new Leica gear. TRAVEL TIPS
SoHo
SoHo is literally in the center of the downtown area. Foodies will delight in the choice of hundreds of local restaurants from any cuisine they desire. Within a 5-10 minute walk is Little Italy, Chinatown, TriBeca, and Greenwich Village.
The photo opportunities in the area are endless. Legendary street photographers have often used the cobblestone streets and sidewalk cafes of downtown Manhattan as their muse. For as long as there have been Leica cameras, downtown Manhattan has been a destination for street photography. If people-watching is what you seek, several world famous parks like Washington Square, Union Square, and the Highline are just minutes away. If you like historic landmarks, famous bridges, noteworthy architecture, we’ve got it. From the sidewalk outside our store you can spot the Freedom Tower downtown and the Empire State Building uptown. And if that isn’t enough, walk along the waterfront and see New York Harbor, Ellis Island, and the Statue of Liberty, all a short distance away.

MORE +-Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! We offer free UPS Ground shipping for orders over $500.00.
How do you ship?
We generally ship via UPS. Fedex as well as other methods of shipping are available upon request. All packages are fully insured, and they require a signature upon delivery. Shipping costs are calculated at the checkout based on the total weight and speed of service selected.
Do you ship internationally?
We do! International orders have to be placed directly with us and are subject to additional verification. Please contact us with any questions if you reside outside of the United States.

MORE +-What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit cards, PayPal, Amazon Pay, Bank wire transfers, and cash.
Pre-Orders
MORE +-We accept pre-orders for new items and items that are not in stock at the time. A temporary authorization will be placed on your credit card or Paypal account at the time of ordering. You will be charged when the item actually ships.
Purchases / Trade-ins
MORE +-Do you buy used equipment? Can I trade in brands other than Leica?
Yes. We actively buy and sell used equipment. You can trade in your unwanted equipment of any brand. You can choose to receive a check or use it against your purchase.
Warranty
MORE +-What kind of warranty do you offer on your products?
Brand new Leica items usually have a 2-year warranty on Digital camera bodies, 3 years on the S system, 3-year passport on the M Lenses, 5 to lifetime warranty on binoculars, and 1 year on the accessories. Leica demo and CPO units have 1 year or 6-month warranty. We offer a 6-month warranty on all of our used equipment.
Service
MORE +-Do you offer service/cleaning and repair?
We do not do cleaning or servicing in our retail location. We would be more than willing to help you with your service request and forward your equipment to Leica Camera USA on your behalf.
